Here at www.hopesbeginning.com, we are driven to do our part in making the world a better place. Since 2024, we have taken part in a wide range of activities that empower individuals and communities. The Future Looks Bright

Feeling like there are countless pressing issues that no single program could make a marked difference? Our Volunteering initiative has proven to be a powerful tool for www.hopesbeginning.com to successfully serve our community and improve countless lives. We are looking for volunteers to hellp building and create our future.  Please call Emeko Hall at 478-238-6269 if you are interest in volunteering with our Special Olympics training.

Change for the Better

The Local Empowerment program is our longest running initiative, based on the premise that making a real difference is not only possible but vital. At www.hopesbeginning.com, Local Empowerment is a source of great pride for our Non-Profit.  Helping Out People Environments is the driving for behind Hope's New Beginning.  Helping Out People Environments is an agency for residential, community living supports, host home and day program for adults with developmental disabilities.  We are looking for monetary, clothing, gently using furniture to continue supporting the people we serve.

Our future project is participanting in Special Olympics as a sponsor.

NEWS

Hope's New Beginning located at 3020 Avondale Mill Road, is the new home of Hope's New Beginning, Inc.  We are focusing on building the Special Olympics Program, Holiday family gatherings, movie night, and more for our adults with developmental disabilities.

MEET THE OWNERS

Outstanding Quality

Michael Washington is the co-owner of Helping Out People Environments. He’s a native of Milledgeville, Georgia. He graduated from Baldwin High School where he received a full football scholarship to the University of South Carolina (Gamecocks). Michael entered in the draft and played professionally until his injury. Michael has been working with people with intellectual disabilities for over 24 years. He is responsible for all of the residential and host home daily operations. He is the husband of Nicole Washington and the father of two children, Michaela  & Michael Jr. 

Jimese is the owner of Helping Out People Environments. She’s a native of Macon, Georgia. She graduated high school from Northeast High School, Albany State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration with a Concentration in Business Management and her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fort Valley State University. Jimese is the mother of one daughter, Kenadi Lauren Lightfoot and the man dog Dallas of the house. Jimese has been working in this field for over 20 years. Jimese is responsible for all of the administrative, day services, in home supports and financial operations of the agency.
